About Kiln Log
Kiln Log is a small, independent reference for people starting side income alongside a full week. Most advice about earning on the side skips the slow part. We write about it on purpose, because the slow part is where most people give up.
How the firing record is put together
Stage lengths and firing times on the home page come from public platform documentation, government guidance on tax and employment, and messages from readers who've started the work themselves. They describe common patterns, not promises. When something changes or a reader shows us an error, we correct the page and update the date.
What we don't do
- We don't sell courses, coaching, tools or memberships.
- We don't publish income figures, earnings screenshots or success stories.
- We don't accept payment to list or rank any platform or kind of work.
- We will never ask you to pay to read anything here.
